hati engkau yg selalu didatangi nafsu atau perintah Allah Maha Suci?
Jangan hanya berdoa kala susah,

WHAT IS PROPHETS??
It was approximately 124,000 Prophets sent down by Allah in Islam. BUT their names are not to be concerned. As Allah didn't inform all of them in the Glorious Quran.
In Surah Faatir, Ch. 35, Verse 24 : Indeed, We have sent you with the truth as a bringer of good tidings and a warner. And there was no nation but that there had passed within it a warner (Messenger).
Know that the capital 'We' is referring to Allah. Allah use We as a symbol of respect. But it does not mean that there are more than one God. It is impossible. Even there is only one President of America, so why there need to be other god or deity other than Allah?
Back to the topic, the Arabic word for Prophet are Nabi and Rasul.
In English translation, Messenger is a Rasul & Prophet is Nabi. That is why confusion rises amongst the English speaker as it is not correctly translated from the Arabic.
A Nabi was a man chosen by Allah to a particular tribes in the past to give news of the existence of Allah, the one & only God that has to be worshipped rather than idols that the men created.
A Rasul was a man chosen by Allah to a big nation. There are about 313 Rasul sent by Allah.
So, a Rasul was a Nabi but a Nabi didn't mean he was a Rasul. Hope you can get it :D
Amongst this 313 Rasul, 4 of them were given a Scripture :
Scripture Zabur was for Prophet David (pbuh) / Daud as.
Scripture Taurat was for Prophet Moses (pbuh) / Musa as.
Scripture Injil/The Old Testament was for Prophet Jesus (pbuh) / Isa as.
Scripture Quran is for Prophet Muhammad SAW
Notice that I use 'is' for Quran as Quran that exist today is totally the same Quran 1404 years ago. Quran is preserved by Allah until the end of the day, until the universe end. Not a single word is added and not even a single word has been deducted in Quran. Subhanallah (Glory belong to Allah)
Surah Al-Hijr 15:9 (chapter 15, verse 9) :
Verily We: It is We Who have sent down the Quran and indeed, We will its guardian
In the Quran, the were 5 Rasul Ulu al-Azmi (Arabic أولوالعذم). A title given to the apostles who have high positions / Special for perseverance and patience is incredible, the spread of religion. You can say "Super Rasul". There were accordingly :
1) Muhammad SAW
2) Abraham as. / Ibrahim (pbuh)
3) Moses (pbuh)/Musa as.
4) Jesus (pbuh)/Isa as.
5) Noah (pbuh)/Nuh as.
P/s : (pbuh) means peace be upon him
